I for one definitely want to run UN*X on my Amy 2000. The reason is that with the exception of the MC68851 PMMU every single piece of hardware I have to buy to be able to run UN*X also increases throughput if I run AmigaDOS. I have to buy a 68020 card (hopefully I will be able to buy it soon -- CATS?) with a 68881 (optionally) and some (>= 2MB) 32bit RAM. All of this will also make the machine fly under AmigaDOS. So I get UN*X for the cost of the software, say (hopefully) somewhere below $1000. -- Lars Soltau UUCP: uunet!unido!sns!spcnet!space BIX: -- no bucks -- Here's looking at you, kid! -- the Medusa
