I am soon going to be scrapping my XT clone and getting a ST.  However, I'm
not too sure of what setup is best, and could use some of the net's expert
advice.  What hardware/software setup would you recommend, or are happily
using right now?  IE: 1040/Mega?  Mono/Color?  Etc..   I intend to use this
system as a tool for school and programming, ie. games are a distant second.
Please E-MAIL me your suggestions.

PS.  I am aware that this is probably the (e**n)th time that this has been
     asked, so hopefully someone has an archive file containing the answers
     to these questions.  If not, I'll build one from  the responses I get.
