Thanks to all those who responded to my question on the problem of the
C64 locking up after about an hour.  After the first few attempts at
direct mail reply where my system was not capable of handling the
return addresses, I gave up and decided to do it this way.  So thanks
again!

For those who were interested in getting the answer, it
seems to be unanimously the power supply, with its notorious overheating
problem.  I have yet to verify this myself, but I'm hopeful.
