Keywords: PC AT disc controller Message-ID: <2437@copper.SDP.TEK.COM> Date: 30 Sep 88 00:43:43 GMT Organization: Tektronix Inc., Beaverton, Or. Lines: 7 I've been seriously considering the purchase of an AT_clone, probably one rated at 16 or 20 Mhz. However, recently I saw a reference that indicated the Adaptec 2372 RLL controller (rated at 800K/sec transfer rate) would not work properly in "high_bus_speed" AT's. Anyone out there using such a setup now or have any advice to offer? Is there necessarily a relationship between clock speed and bus speed? THANKS....
