The board went in easily enough and the setup routine for the board and for the computer seem to be working. I told both of them that I wanted to increase my 512K of conventional memory to 640K and it works, but the EMM driver won't install. It tells me that the command line in CONFIG.SYS is wrong. It looks like this: driver=emm.sys m5 i0 No combination of m or i parameters seems to work. i0 should work because SETBOARD set up the board to use base i/o at location 208. I've tried every m number with i0 and i1. I'm using the Version 4.0, Rev A EMS driver off an original diskette. While the manual doesn't mention an exact version, the diskette appears to be an upgrade. Is it possible the command line syntax changed and I didn't get a manual update?? This seems like it should be the simplest part of the procedure but it's got me stuck! Incidentally, all the original and new I/O in the computer seem to be working, too. Two serial and two parallel channels. John M. Desmond desmond@nosc.mil
