Message-ID: <3677@homxc.UUCP> Date: 3 Oct 88 19:12:28 GMT Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories, Holmdel Lines: 19 I am looking for a thesaurus that can run stand alone, and not hopelessly imbedded within a word processor. Alternatively I would like to buy the data base for a thesaurus. This curious situation came about because I wrote a series of filters to work with the vi editor and lets me do all of the word processing I need. I use a speller, Microspell, which is a stand alone. My balk at the big wordprocessors and their thesaruses is not the cost but rather I really don't want to learn a new system. I automatically hit the right buttons in vi. My combination of vi and my filters runs nicely on both the big Unix hosts and my little PC6300. Does anyone make a thesaurus that runs as a stand alone? Thanks in advance. Ed Gauss ...att!homxc!gauss
