My brother (KA1PPG (Needham MA. without usenet access) wants to
get into packet radio.  I've let him borrow an old computer of
mine (Trash-80) (TSR-80 Model I).  It has a half decent comm
programs thats been tested via a hookup with my IBM.

Does he need anything else besides a TNC?

The TNC we were looking at had connections on the back for the
computer (RS232) and a DIN connector for the radio.
