I've received a lot of mail on this and a summary followup is clearly in order. People too numerous to mention have all referred me to Mortice Kern Systems which sells a product called the 'MKS Toolkit' which reportedly has ksh, vi, awk, and other UNIX-like utilities. A couple of people reported that it had compatibility problems with Novell-based LANs. I've been told that the price is around US$ 100-150 for the package. Thanks to all who replied for the help. ______________________________________________________________________________ rja@edison.GE.COM or ...uunet!virginia!edison!rja via Internet (preferable) via uucp (if you must) ______________________________________________________________________________
