Does anyone out there know if IBM (or anyone else) has ever released a
replacement screen for the "PC Convertible"? I would really like to get 
something at least backlit. 

I've tried my local IBM authorized computer store (Computerland) but they just
give me the brush off. I guess they aren't interested in my business bad
enough to look up a part number.

I hope my laptop isn't orphan already. IBM did it right, one simple switch and
the current display can be removed and replaced. I just wish for a backlit
screen.
