Dyer Computer Consulting, Cambridge MA Lines: 13 This might sound like an uninformed question, but I really am a bit confused. If I have a PC-type 8-bit DMA device plugged into an AT bus (i.e., the extended 16-bit slot is unoccupied), does that limit DMA transfers using this board to the first megabyte of physical memory? Or does the coordination with the AT DMA channels handle that? (I suspect the latter.) No lectures about using DMA on an AT, thanks... -- Steve Dyer dyer@harvard.harvard.edu dyer@spdcc.COM aka {harvard,husc6,linus,ima,bbn,m2c,mipseast}!spdcc!dyer
