Two things Bill, if you want to sun bash, lets move this to the correct group - this is getting tiresome. Second, if you are going to sun bash, get the facts right. Sitting in the window just below the one I am typing in on my Sun is a window to a vms system via telnet. ^C/^Y acts instantly. You may want to make sure that the problem isn't with VMS or (Heavens Forbid) something with your vms login.com file. (set control=(t,y) comes to mind.) Have a nice day. < dave
