I've had similar experiences. I made a graphic in (I believe) MacDraw
with three normal horizontal lines of text and two slanted lines of
text with a shaded box underneath. On the FWP screen it showed
the three lines and the shaded box alright, but the slanted text
got horizontal.

The final output got the three lines alright, put the two lines horizontal
(like on the screen) and made two shaded boxes: 1 horizontal and 1 slanted
. Using a Mac SE and a LaserWriter.

Sure made me wonder about the usefulness of FWP as a technical wordprocessor.
