Long] My apologies if this has been discussed before. I was flipping through an old BYTE (May, 1987) and there was a blurb in the "What's New" section for an amber screen conversion for the Macintosh!? DId anyone have this done, and what's it like? Really curious... Rich I got mine way back then, I don't even remember the company's name offhand, but it is truly a great upgrade. It is just a new crt tube to swap in. The phosphor has just enough persistance to completely eliminate flicker at normal viewing distance. I dislike flicker so much that I surround myself with DC halogen lamps at home, and my Plus looks great next to them.
