Check out apple File Exchange.  I have used it to read/write to/from
Apple ][gs diskettes.  I don't know what OSs it will work with.

AFE comes bundled with system tools 5.0 and 6.0.  You should be able to
get it free from Compuserve or your Apple dealer.
