Do try to look at the guts yourself for burn throughs (repair text has been emailed to the requesting persons). I have even ran a complete Z-100 floppy system off an old Kaypro CP/M supply (65 Watts) as I am working on mounting a Z-100 in the portable Kaypro case (the video interfaced very nicely as well, I only need a spare keyboard and video board to complete it as well as repairing a junk floppy controller). As I recently posted, try: I met a super guy at CHUGCON that buys H-89 and Z-100 stuff to make parts available for everyone. His small company is selling Z-205 256K S-100 RAM card for $125.00 Z-100 Power Supplies $125.00 Also lots of other Z-100 stuff, used machines, data separator cards (if available). He guarentees the stuff works or he will replace it. A friend bought a data sep which failed after a day or so and he exchanged it for a working great one with no problems. contact: Bruce Gewirz Pair & A Spare Hyattsville, MD (oops, I don't have street address) He can be reached at his real job at 703-739-8855. Tell him Gern sent you... (maybe he'll remember me...). Cheers, Gern -------
