When I use the command "bibtex" it asks for a file name and everything goes fine. When I use the command "bibtex foo" nothing happens until I hit a carriage return, then it goes as before. I assume, but haven't gotten around to checking, that this has something to do with the conversion of pascal to C, and how they handle reads.
