My apologies; you we're obviously asking about the 386 product and
I mistakenly thought you were asking about V/AT (release 2.3).  My
anger toward Microport is considerable (they've cost me a hell of
a lot of money and time).  I thought I was helping answer your 
question even as I vented some steam.  When I found out I was
mistaken about the question it was too late -- my polemic had
already escaped my machine.
