Due to space restriction, I had to move all news software and news articles to another slave server and mount the news partition onto the master server. I have no problems getting news from my feed, but the problem occurs when I try to expire news. News articles don't seem to expire on both the master server OR the slave server which contains all news articles. A typical command that I used was something like this: /news/lib/expire -v -e 5 -n comp.os.vms ...etc.. Any idea what went wrong ?
