A while back (early summer 88) there was a discussion about Arnet
Smartport-8 i/o controllers not working well on 386 machines. We
currently run an Arnet Multiport-4 on a 20Mhz 386 (SCO 2.3.1), without
any problems, and would like to upgrade to a Smartport-8.

Can anyone confirm whether or not Arnet has shipped fixes for `aspserv',
or if newer versions of the product (post 7/88) still exhibit problems on
386 machines?
