I knew that I had seen one on the net but couldn't find it. I have now found it, so if anyone is interested, let me know. It implements the ft device used by curses for short timer requests, down to 1 HZ resolution. If there are enough requests I'll post it to the net. It doesn't appear to be in the archives for any group, but the date on the source is 1981, so Ghod only knows ... If you want to uucp it, the file is rpp386!~/nap.shar.Z.
