GNU Emacs 18.52.1 of Tue Sep 27 1988 on manta (usg-unix-v)

Under previous versions of Emacs, a RETURN typed at the end of a word
that extended past the wrap margin (with Fill set on the buffer) would
cause a wrap.  Now only a space works.  This is annoying in cases when
the last word in a paragraph extends past the margin; one wants to be
able to type two RETURNs to start the next paragraph, but the last
word doesn't get wrapped.  Instead, you must type <word>.<space><RET>
I'm not sure where the fix should go.
