Message-ID: <212@fantasci.UUCP> Date: 9 Oct 88 17:21:44 GMT Reply-To: jep@fantasci.UUCP (Joseph E Poplawski) Organization: Fantasci Incorporated Lines: 20 On my system, all my news is spooled in /usr/spool/news . What I would like to know, is if I remove a directory, for example, /usr/spool/news/comp/sys/amiga, and then I receive news that night, would news automatically re-create the directory and put news there? I ask because occasionally I have removed and recreated directories that were getting large (sizes above 12000) and would rather just remove them and have less work to do. Thanks in advance for any help or assistance you give. -Jo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |Joseph E Poplawski (Jo) US Mail: 1621 Jackson Street | | Cinnaminson NJ 08077 | |UUCP:..!rutgers!rochester!moscom!telesci!fantasci!jep | | ..!princeton!telesci!fantasci!jep Phone: +1 609 786-8099 home | | ..!pyrnj!telesci!fantasci!jep | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
