Yes, this is very good advice and no matter what don't post info on security books like Unix System Security by Pat Wood; this would be a hackers guide to breaking in. So don't tell anyone about this book or others like it. :-) It will keep a lot of SA's in the dark while the hackers rape their systems. As more and more Unix boxs start to pop up there will be more and more novice SAs running them. At one time I could see the merit in this thinking, but that time has passed. I would say that there will be many more SAs out there that will be helped by this information than hackers that will learn how to break in. -- Darryl Wagoner dpw@unisec.usi.com UniSecure Systems, Inc.; OS/2, Just say No!
