My request might sound redundant with respect to Chris Overton's
recent request for research summaries.  Chris said he wanted to use
the summaries to create a report for use for funding and conference
planning.  This is great.  My hope is for a less formal, ongoing
discussion in which individual summaries are posted as opposed to a
whole report.  This finer granularity should encourage more discussion,
of individual projects, and will also require a smaller investment in
reading time at a sitting.  The summaries we submitted to Chris are an
obvious starting (and perhaps ending) point for what we mail to the
list.
