Our Ingres cpu charges are exorbitantly high (on a Vax 8650). I got a detailed list of charges and found that docopy was one big offender. Quels on multiple tables was the other. The strange thing is that running reports is very cheap. So you could presumably generate a text file with a report for $.15 or so or copy to a text file for about $15. I haven't tried doing both on the same file, though. Steve Goldfield
