That's not true at all. dBase is a microcomputer product for small to medium sized applications. It is not intended to handle the major needs of a company with 100 million dollars in sales like Ashton Tate. I am sure that they have small internal databases maintained with dBase. I know that at Personal Software, we tried to keep the accounting on Visicalc for a while, but VisiCalc's own success demanded a mini based system before too long.
