Keywords: TCP/IP NOVELL Message-ID: <126@seri.SERI.UUCP> Date: 14 Oct 88 18:34:21 GMT Organization: SERI, Golden, CO Lines: 32 Being new to the world of inter-networking and this newsgroup, I may ask some dumb questions here,but..... We've got an existing tcp/ip net on ethernet and we're installing a TRN net which will be running NOVELL Net-Ware. What experiences have people had trying to get these two to talk to each other? In particular, we're interested in: telnet-like/rlogin access from TRN/NOVELL nodes to the ethernet; NFS and what we can/can't do with it across the two nets; What is the most elegant hardware/software solution for bridging; If we've got some kind of 3270-like emulation package on a NOVELL server (which will be hooked into our IBM 3174 cluster controller), will we be able to access that package from ethernet nodes; Anyway, I may or may not be re-covering old ground, but any help will be app- reciated. Thanks in advance! Relax. Don't Worry.
