Ugly, but it works. Or... if your modem has the option of turning xon/xoff on or off in one direction only, you might find that you can, for instance, tell the modem to honor xon/xoff from the host but not to send an xoff character to the host no matter what. This seems to sit happily with the g protocol, and also doesn't interfere with dial-in terminal sessions. Ron -- Ronald O.
