It gets a lot more errors than my el cheapo Everex 1200 bps internal modem ever got. Do you suppose this is due to the higher bit rate? Or something else? Also, this courier always comes up in terse mode, no matter what I set the DIP switch to. (There is a DIP switch just for this setting.) I have to type "atv1" to get verbal codes rather than the numeric ones. Sounds like a defect, doesn't it?
