         I have a 23-year-old friend coming from Austria to pursue a 
        master's degree in a liberal arts field, most probably English 
        / Literature.  She speaks fluent German, French, and English 
        and will have completed her under-graduate program at a 
        university in Vienna before arriving in America next fall.  
        She would prefer a west-coast school for geographical reasons 
        but will consider any curriculum that offers exchange 
        programs.  

        I would greatly appreciate any information regarding graduate 
        programs that offer tuition-assistance to foreign exchange 
        students.
