Message-ID: <30933@bbn.COM> Date: 17 Oct 88 19:17:00 GMT Sender: news@bbn.COM Organization: BBN news/mail gateway Lines: 14 Hiya - has anyone successfully built Gnu Emacs on a Mips machine running RISC/os? If you have, I'd love to talk to you -- I'm having real trouble getting it built. Actually, it may not have to do with the flavor of Unix -- maybe something else is out of whack (this is the first Emacs I've tried to build)? The main problem I'm encountering now is that when xmakefile in ../src tries to ld things together to create temacs, it gets lots of undefineds... and everything that is undefined are those Lisp_Objects in lisp.h. Grr. Anyone have any hints/ideas/whatnot? Much thanks in advance, dwh
