If I remember correctly, awhile ago someone posted a function
that cycled through a list of tag-file names.

I'm looking for a function that could be used in conjunction
with 'visit-tags-table.  The function would prompt in the
minibuffer as 'repeat-complex-command does, but cycle through
a list of your TAGS files instead of a list of previous
commands, i.e.

(defvar tags-file-list
  '("/usr/src/local/gnu/dist-18.52/src/TAGS"
    "/b2/fcg/emacs_setup/TAGS" 
    "~/emacs_setup/gnews-1.9/TAGS")
  "*List containing tags-file names to loop through.")
