I've looked at a few sources on doing this with fractals. The articles imply that I need to input a few sample points of the terrain that I want to generate. These points would include the location and elevation of mountain peaks and bases. What is a good method for generating these input points at random so that I end up with a random, realistic mountainous terrain? -Melisse (mleib@bbn.com)
