I have made a few changes to the MH 6.6 distribution that allow it to compile gracefully under recent releases of System V (3.1 or later, I should think). These changes include a new undocumented configuration option SYS5DIR that forces MH to use the new directory access routines that AT&T came up with. (These routines are mostly the same as Berkeley's, but there are a few infuriating differences in the names of structures and such.) If you want the (rather small) patch, let me know.
