Lekkas) Organization: CERN, Geneva, Switzerland Lines: 18 Someone at the National Technical University of Athens thought it would be a good idea to connect a little VAX 11-750 (4.3BSD) that now talks uucp, to BITNET. So they went and bought a UREP program, which does everything. The problem is: The doc seems incomplete to me, talking about a 4.1BSD-tested (!) program. I don't know much about RSCS, and the terminology there is really ..IBMish I would say. I can do some netexec and file transfer, but no mail :-(. A good solution would be to check docs at the connected BITNET site, but that's in Crete! Question #1 : Where do I get pointers for BITNET knowledge ? #2,#3,.. : Do I have to change sendmail.cf ? Why doesn't the doc say more ? Is there current support from anyone at Pennsylvania or elsewhere ? Is there a more complete documentation ? Lots of questions.. anxiously waiting for the answers, by e-mail or net, George Lekkas lekkas@cernvax.uucp CERN/SPS Div.
