Uuname -l truncates our hostnames to seven characters. Is there any way to get uucp to recognize more than seven characters? Our server is named trwarcadia and it is truncated to trwarca. One of our clients is named minotaur and this is truncated to minotau. When I send uucp files from a machine connected to our server I have to send them to trwarca!~ rather than trwarcadia!~. I hear there are aliases on 4.3 BSD but that won't help me here. Scott Simpson TRW Space and Defense Sector oberon!trwarcadia!simpson (UUCP) trwarcadia!simpson@oberon.usc.edu (Internet)
