The basis for speaking out against it was that you *can* *not* count on the map data being accurate; EVEN IF EVERYONE REGISTERED! EVEN IF THEY SENT MAP UPDATES IN IN A TIMELY FASHION! YOU CAN'T COUNT ON HAVING ACCURATE MAP DATA! There are always local conditions, delays in passing the new map data around, system failures, mistakes in the map data, etc..... Thus, agressive rerouting is a BAD IDEA! It will continue to be a BAD IDEA as long as 99% accurate map data cannot be guaranteed 100% of the time! Be Careful! -- ...!hadron\ "Who?... Me?...
