I don't know how true or likely it is, but any development that
would (a) incorporate work through SVR4 and (b) prevent major
variants of UNIX from arising would be welcome indeed.  My
technical objection to OSF so far has been that it was moving
contrary to these goals, therefore not in the best interests of
the UNIX user community.
