Does anyone out there have a NEC 8500?

How many characters wide is the LCD screen?
How much RAM does it have?  
Is there a RAM disk?  How big is it?
How fast is the built-in modem?  
How fast/slow is the ROM disk?
Which communications software is on the ROM disk?
Can the comm. software  transfer binaries?  
Which processor does it use?

What do you do with YOUR laptop?  
Any clever applications, tips, hints, programs?
