I got a blurb in the mail the other day about Tandy "Express Order" software, saying I could get a free catalog by calling a certain number. (BTW, the times that I could call were downright reasonable for people who work! Tandy deserves kudos for that, I think.) I called, talked to a very kindly woman, and she said I should get the catalog in a couple of weeks. Said catalog is supposed to include CoCo software. I recall seeing a message on CIS saying that much Tandy software (not just CoCo) would be moving to "Express Order" sales (wherein one calls an 800 number to order) instead of sales in RS stores. I personally am rather concerned at the pitifully small amount of new CoCo software that Tandy has come out with (ROM cartridge games? who cares?), and as a non-credit-card holder, I'm a bit bothered about the possibility of not being able to use this service, and I would hope that one can still at least see software on display in stores, but it does seem a fairly nice way to order software with minimal hassle. James Jones The above opinions are mine--all mine! I've worked a lifetime to become this opinionated! No organization necessarily shares my opinions, but that's OK!
