Personally, I don't see wonderful technology in the NeXT announcement
beyond nice I/O coprocessing *except* that new disk!  I would pay $6500
for that optical disk today if it matches the suspicious specs I have 
seen in the news:  28 millisecond, 256MB, $50 media, eternally
read/write.  Anyone have more info on this wonderdrive?
