I'm currently working on a new release of screen (it will support multiple character sets, a client library that allows programs to open windows, etc., and a function to `detach' screen from the terminal and resume the screen session at a later point of time possibly on a different terminal). I will send the new release to the moderator of comp.sources.unix in a couple of weeks. If you mail me your modifications within the next few days, I may incorporate them into the new release (provided I like them, of course). Otherwise I suggest that you wait until the new release of screen has appeared in comp.sources.unix and then post the diffs with respect to the new release.
