Keywords: omega Message-ID: <41297@yale-celray.yale.UUCP> Date: 25 Oct 88 19:41:37 GMT Article-I.D.: yale-cel.41297 Sender: root@yale.UUCP Reply-To: shefter-bret@CS.YALE.EDU (Bret A. Shefter) Followup-To: news.groups Organization: Yale University Computer Science Dept, New Haven CT 06520-2158 Lines: 21 Distribution: *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MEmunch, munch, smack gulp At the risk of seeming trivial, poking my proposal in amongst the heated discussions regarding sci.mil, rec.arts.cartoons, comp.sys.next, comp.os.mach, comp.lang.sigplan, and comp.unix.microport and company, I hereby propose the beginnings of discussion for the creation of the group rec.games.omega. I believe this was proposed once before, last year some time. The sugges- tion was made to wait until the game was available to every site, by ftp from the archives or some other method, for those who could not reach the author or get comp.sources.games at their site. This is now the case. The traffic volume in both rec.games.misc and comp.sources.games.bugs seems to me to be high enough to justify this group's creation. Note that this is a call for discussion, not a call for votes. Followups are directed to news.misc only. Please mail or post your thoughts on the sub- ject.
