What You Don't See Is What Your's Stuck With. Especially when trying to create a Notepad document with a sample of all the various fonts. I changed to a second font, changed my mind, deleted the text, change to a 3rd, deleted, changed to a 4th, etc, and then tried to insert some new text in front of the line. Guess which font it used? Beats me! If it had some sort of "display codes" feature this would not have been a problem. The only use for Notepad is a two-page README file for the beginning users. To the original poster: If you are intending to have a manual that can be invoked by clicking on an icon, then do like Fred Fish and include a program like "less" or "more" to display the manual. Don't use Notepad. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | TYMNET:JMS@F29 CA:"POPJ P," UUCP:{ames|pyramid}oliveb!tymix!antares!jms | | INTERNET: (Office-1.ARPA is no more) PHONE:Joe Smith @ (408)922-6220 | +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
