Was it worth it? Early on in the game I would have said no. Ultimately the change only cost a few thousand for to re-layout so given the extras in Zorro-II (eg better coprocessor slot, extra int lines, etc) I say it was worth it to go Zorro-I -> Zorro-II. I agree that the bridgecard is a waste of time and resources however. From my point of view it muddies the waters about what an Amiga *really* is all about.
