I agree!  I have long since thought that WE NEED STANDARDIZED FILE REQUESTERS,
which would make life easier for both users and programmers, and would even help
make programs smaller.  The other things you mention sound good too.  I am
interested in seeing your whatever nots or thoughts you have on this.
