From what I gather, you are correct. There doesnt seem to be anything about
the new 1.3 & 1.4's that would be bad for the 1000. With any LUCK, the big 
FAT CHIPSET will prove me wrong, but I doubt it. 

	BTW: The odds of actually finding a 1000 w/256k is almost NIL. I mean,
I sold em for YEARS and never sold >1< without the expansion.
