That's exactly what it was.  I took it to a local warranty repair place,
they took out the old supply, dropped in a new one, and got my machine back to
me in less than 2 weeks.  Not too bad considering that Clemson SC is in
the middle of nowhere.

It's been running smoothly for a whole 2 days now.

Time for C= to find a new PS supplier, I suspect.
