All these techniques of keeping file requestors up to date have one flaw...
what happens when the user pops the disk with the directory the file requestor
is looking at, next time the scan comes?

I do know the solution in terms of preventing a system request to reinsert the
disk... make sure you handle pr_WindowPtr when you implement this, folks!
