The package is one I run at home for networking my ST on amateur radio TCP/IP through a modem to my radio. It does have a MIDI driver on it also though which can be used to support another link. The package supports Telnet, SMTP and FTP as well as some amateur radio specific operation. Full source code as well as binaries and documentation are also at lakesys. I have no doubt that this package as it stands will support networking of multiple ST as well as mixed systems (I routinely do file transfers, telnet sessions and electronic mailing with Macintoshes and PCs located in the greater SF Bay area).
